about

"Back in the days, when I was a Psykick Lyrikah member, we had the opportunity to play our very first concert in a bar, pretty far for Rennes train station, in kind of a hostile neighbourhood. It was an odd experience in various ways, but my contribution to this weirdness was to compose a special compilation of interludes for the occasion. Those tracks were destined to be played for a few seconds only, to avoid blanks between our tracks.

Then, I turned on my family macintosh, a Peforma 6200, ran my sound editor and mixed up together a set of very short dreamy and glitchy samples. Despite the collection of clicks, cracks and badly sampled melodies, I was very proud of myself, because I have succeeded in translating the atmosphere of my afternoons and nights. Let's just say I had a lot of questions at this time. My mornings were very peaceful, thanks for asking.

At that time, as I was a student with just enough money for noodles and records, I promised myself to never forget that mood. Today, I offer it to you for free... well, I admit it, it would be a shame for me to force you to spend money for this half-music. Still, this humble EP remains the witness of a time, when pure creation was my God, feeding me with inspiration and cigarettes."
